Why not use a bootable linux cd with a trusted
copy of nmap and other tools?
-- -- -- \ / \/ /\ / \ -- -- Quoting Bryan D. Fish <bryanfish@sbcglobal.net>: I need to upload nmap to a compromised NT box. I would like to use the precompiled nmap from packetstuff so I don't have to install winpcap. Any comments on the safety of this binary (e.g. free from malicious code)? I just learned about it last night and obviously need to be careful with what I upload to a client's box.
