If you are not in the correct window when the client associate, just Dos him a little bit.
You can make use of Void11 or File2air to force the client to de-associate. he will then quickly re-associate, and Kismet will see the SSID...
Void11 and File2air are on the Auditor CD too..

You should be able to see the SSID when a wireless client associates
with the access point. Not a very big window there, but that's the only
way I know so far.
