Hi,
I applied the jumbo patch
(http://www.openwall.com/john/contrib/john-1.7.2-all-9.diff.gz) for
John the ripper 1.7.2. So I ran the benchmarking test and the program
aborted with a weird error:
Benchmarking: Kerberos v5 TGT [krb5 3DES (des3-cbc-sha1)]... *** stack
smashing detected ***: ./john terminated
Aborted
Has anyone observed this behavior? Any known remedies for this?
