Hi
When I carry out a security audit I like to recommend security training to
the recipient. In addition to improving the security of an organisation it
is a great way to get the network admins "on side" by having an independent
body advise their management of the need for security training. To this end
I have added a training category of instructor lead courses to the website
covering those topics I felt would be of use including:
Intro to Security (I'm tempted to drop this item as there are so many
courses on offer)
Securing Operating Systems
Database Security
Intrusion Detection Systems
Firewalls
Incident Response
Forensics
VPNs
Web Server Security
Wireless Security (link under wireless for now)
Pen Testing

Some of the pages have been there for a while and are fairly comprehensive.
What I am asking is whether there are any key topics missing and more
importantly whether there are any good courses that I have missed that list
members can recommend, I think I have them pretty much covered with the main
players in the training arena.
I'm off to CanSecWest on Monday, but will update suitable recommendations
on my return
take care

PS The site has changed somewhat, as a few experts have offered to maintain
a few of the categories. One such example is Gary who has created the
forensic tools pages, he's done an excellent job

from the talisker handle to reflect the shared effort on the talisker site.
I have had to throw up a few banners as the renewed popularity has pushed
the bandwidth through the roof, I need to replenish my Visa before my wife
