Good Morning,
I am in the process of purchasing a handheld wireless device with
wireless card. As this group has some of the more experienced
pen-testers, I would like to ask for your opinion about two things:
1) Which handheld device do you prefer for wireless pen-testing and
scanning?
(It would be nice to be able to run a Linux/BSD variant on the device)
2) Which wireless card would you prefer based on the device above and
taking into consideration range, supported os's, and supported sniffers
(and possibility for external antenna)?
I know there was a nice thread on wireless sniffers with links included,
but if you would just mention your sniffer of choice, it would be very
helpful. Thanks,
