Once you has been authenticate by the server, you’ll see in your web browser interface the
Cache Manager menu where you can examine and analyze the different options related to your
Squid Proxy server.
The Netscape Proxies Configuration for Squid
If you decide to use Squid as proxy-caching server and allow all users in your corporate network
to use Squid to access the Internet and only in this configuration mode, you must instruct your
user’s browsers to fetch objects from your Squid proxy server instead of retrieving them directly
from the Internet.
With Netscape Communicator, follow the simple steps bellow:

Open Netscape Communicator

Go to Edit menu

Click on Preferences …

Double click Advanced category on the left side

Click on Proxies subcategory option

Select on the right side Manual proxy configuration radio button

Click on the View… button

Fill the boxes with your proxy server information
For example:

Port: 8080

Security:

Port: 8080

FTP:
