Overloading by incoming fax messages can occur if there is not a sufficient number of fax lines. Furthermore, a fax can be intentionally blocked by

• repetitive large fax transmissions (e.g. with useless content).

• intentionally sending faxes until the paper in the fax machine and the buffer memory are exhausted
